What is A252 mesh used for? A252 is a heavy square reinforcing fabric to BS 4483, welded from 8mm Grade B500 wires at 200mm centres both ways for 252mm² of steel per metre in each direction. It is the bridge between the domestic A-grades and the heavy-duty A393: the usual specification for driveways and yards carrying vans and light commercial traffic, thicker ground-bearing slabs, and light industrial or agricultural floors.
