Our Hydrophilic Waterstop Strip is made from a specialised blend of sodium bentonite and butyl rubber mix, forming a high-swelling, hydrophilic water stop solution. This dynamic water stop activates upon contact with water, expanding to seal construction joints within concrete structures. Its ability to resist hydrostatic pressure ensures a robust barrier against water penetration, making it an essential component in reinforced concrete constructions. The strip's design allows it to swell and self-inject to fill voids and cracks, reinforcing the joint's seal.
Perfectly suited for a wide range of applications, including construction joints in both new and existing concrete structures, pipe penetrations, and irregular surfaces, our water stop strip is an excellent replacement for traditional PVC or rubber water bars. It features advanced, active sealing technology that, combined with the expanded metal water stop mesh that can be nailed, tacked or dowelled, facilitates straightforward installation in any weather condition.
